Technician, Facility Services General Maintenance

What you'll do:

• Perform routine preventive maintenance to ensure safety, functionality, and appearance of facilities, equipment, and fixtures.
• Inspect, clean, and repair facilities and equipment, documenting wear, repair needs, and replacement requirements.
• Manage work orders, maintenance schedules, and contractor coordination, ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards.
• Operate and maintain heavy machinery and company vehicles following safety procedures and regulatory guidelines.
• Order parts, track purchases, submit warranty claims, and conduct price comparisons for maintenance-related expenses.
• Identify and report deficiencies, unsafe conditions, and equipment malfunctions, taking corrective actions as needed.
• Collaborate with teams to implement processes that meet business needs and support continuous improvement.

What you'll bring:

• Proven experience performing preventive maintenance and repairs on facilities, equipment, or fixtures following established schedules and safety guidelines.
• Ability to operate, inspect, and maneuver heavy machinery and powered equipment safely and in compliance with certification requirements.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA and EPA regulations to ensure quality and regulatory compliance in all maintenance activities.
• Skilled in managing work orders, maintenance schedules, contractor coordination, and related documentation accurately.
• Competence in identifying repair and replacement needs, recommending solutions to prevent future issues.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills to support collaboration and continuous improvement.

The hourly wage range for this position is $26.00 - $51.00*

*The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location.

Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.
