WHAT YOUR DAY AS A FURNITURE DRIVER ASSISTANT LOOKS LIKE:
Here's the kind of work you'll be excited to dive into:
You work alongside your delivery driver to collaborate on making timely deliveries to our customers. You get to solve challenges by finding solutions for the assembly and installation of furniture to a customer's specific needs. You make a direct impact on our clients and your team by maintaining outstanding working relationships and creating a positive customer service experience. Each day brings fresh challenges, opportunities to shine, and the chance to make a real difference.
SOME OF OUR REQUIREMENTS:
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Outstanding communication skills
- Detail-oriented
- Interested and able to work in a team-oriented work environment
- Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations
- Ability to converse, read, and write in English
- Ability to regularly move and/or lift up to 100 lbs.
- A high school diploma is preferred
MATERIAL HANDLING EQUIPMENT
This role may involve the operation of certain pieces of Material Handling Equipment (MHE). The company supplies and mandates training and certification on each individual piece of equipment prior to permissible use. Use of any equipment by an employee on which they are not trained and certified may result in disciplinary action up to and including termination.
