Overview
We are seeking an experienced Expert Test Engineer to provide support to its Apps Team that provides a robust, scalable environment to standardize and centralize currently disaparate enrichment efforts.
What will you do?
Experience
- Software testing, preferably with web applications
- Understanding of software testing methodologies, tools, and processes
- Testing applications built with React and TypeScript
- Testing Node.js server applications
- Advanced testing frameworks and tools, such as front-end (Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress, Playwright), back-end (Mocha, Chai, Supertest, Postman, Newman), or end-to-end (Cypress, Playwright, Selenium WebDriver, Katalon Studio)
- Version control systems (e.g., Git)
- CI/CD pipelines and integrating automated testing into deployment workflows
- Monitoring the progress of multiple concurrent and highly visible projects and requirements

Desired: Demonstrated strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Desired: Demonstrated excellent written and verbal communication skills. Desired: Demonstrated experience with advanced knowledge of containerization and testing in Dockerized environments. Desired: Demonstrated experience in accessibility testing tools (e.g., Axe, Lighthouse). Desired: Demonstrated experience with Elasticsearch Testing: Jest integration for Elasticsearch. Desired: Demonstrated experience with manual query validation. Pay Range: VTG’s estimated starting pay range is $160,000-$210,000 annually, which is a general guideline for the geographic location. When extending an offer, VTG also considers work experience, education, skill level, market considerations and may possibly include contractual requirements which may cause an offer to fall outside of this range.
