INTRODUCTION and WHAT YOU WILL DO (Job Responsibilities) Role Summary Teletrac Navman is looking for a Global Director of Demand Generation to own the engine that turns market demand into qualified pipeline. This leader sets the global acquisition strategy, runs the website as our primary pipeline asset, and builds a data-driven, AI-enabled team that grows marketing-sourced revenue efficiently across every region. You will be accountable for a pipeline number, not just activity. You will decide where the next dollar of media goes, what the website tests next, and how marketing and sales work together from first touch to closed-won. How Success Is Measured

  • Marketing-sourced pipeline ($) and sales-qualified opportunities (SQOs) against regional and segment targets.
  • Conversion rates and velocity through the funnel: visit → inquiry → MQL/MQA → SQL → SQO → closed-won.
  • Efficiency: cost per SQO, CAC, CAC payback and pipeline-to-spend ratio.
  • Website conversion rate, organic and AI-search visibility, and share of voice against key competitors.
  • Speed-to-lead and lead-to-meeting rate, measured jointly with Sales.

Key Responsibilities

Acquisition Strategy & Pipeline Generation

  • Build and own the global acquisition strategy and annual demand plan, setting pipeline and SQO targets by region, segment (enterprise, mid-market, SMB) and product line in partnership with Sales and Finance.
  • Design full-funnel, always-on programs across paid, organic, owned, partner and outbound-assist channels, built around buying groups rather than individual leads.
  • Run account-based programs for enterprise and competitive-displacement targets, using intent and engagement data to prioritize accounts and trigger plays.
  • Manage the global media budget with clear allocation rules, shifting spend toward the channels, audiences and creative that produce pipeline at the lowest cost.
  • Test and scale new acquisition channels, including LinkedIn, YouTube and CTV, review sites and software marketplaces, partner co-marketing and event-to-pipeline programs.

Website & Digital Experience

  • Own the global website as the company's primary pipeline asset: roadmap, information architecture, performance, conversion and localization across US, UK, LATAM (Spanish) and ANZ sites.
  • Run the website like a product, with a prioritized backlog, sprint cadence and a continuous experimentation program (A/B and multivariate testing, CRO, and personalization by industry, segment and account).
  • Partner with Product Marketing and Brand on buyer-centric journeys, bundle and pricing pages, competitor comparison pages, ROI calculators and interactive demos that shorten the path to a sales conversation.
  • Modernize the web and conversion stack, including evaluating headless or composable CMS options, form and lead-routing tools, and AI-powered chat that qualifies visitors and books meetings in real time.
  • Hold the site to high technical standards: Core Web Vitals, accessibility (WCAG), structured data, security and consent management.

Search, AI Search & Paid Media

  • Lead SEO strategy covering technical health, content and authority across all regional domains and languages.
  • Build visibility in AI-driven search and answer engines (Google AI Overviews and AI Mode, ChatGPT, Perplexity, Copilot, Gemini) through generative and answer engine optimization (GEO/AEO): entity and structured-data strategy, citation-worthy content and share-of-answer tracking.
  • Direct paid search and paid social, including bidding strategy, first-party audience strategy, offline conversion imports from CRM and creative testing at scale.
  • Use AI tools to scale content production, localization, ad variations and analysis, with human review and clear brand governance.

Marketing Operations, Data & Measurement

  • Lead the marketing analytics function and own a single source of truth for funnel performance from first touch to closed-won revenue.
  • Define and maintain funnel stages, lead and account scoring, routing and SLAs with Sales Operations in Salesforce and the marketing automation platform.
  • Build a measurement approach that blends multi-touch attribution, incrementality and holdout testing, and media mix modeling, so investment decisions do not rely on last-click data.
  • Deliver weekly pipeline and performance reporting with clear commentary on what is working, what is not and what changes next.
  • Own the data foundation for demand: enrichment, intent, first-party data capture, server-side tracking and consent, compliant with GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, the Australian Privacy Act and applicable LATAM privacy laws.

Sales & Regional Partnership

  • Work hand in hand with regional sales and SDR/BDR leaders on speed-to-lead, lead quality, follow-up plays and closed-lost recapture.
  • Partner with regional marketing teams to localize global programs, share performance and coach on local market nuance.
  • Feed win/loss, conversion and search-demand insights back to Product Marketing, Product and the leadership team.

Leadership & Team Development

  • Lead and grow a high-performing global team of approximately five direct reports plus agency and freelance partners; set clear goals, coach regularly and run quarterly, mid-year and annual performance reviews.
  • Build team capability in AI, analytics and experimentation, and drive individual development and succession planning.
  • Serve as an active member of the global marketing leadership team, representing demand generation, challenging ideas constructively and removing barriers to cross-functional work.
  • Use Teletrac Navman P&C, recruitment and performance management processes to hire, develop, reward and retain talent.
  • Create an environment of open communication, trust and accountability, and resolve cultural or functional conflict across regions with both short- and long-term outcomes in mind.

WHO YOU ARE (Qualifications) Required

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business or a related field, or equivalent experience (MBA or Master's degree beneficial).
  • 10+ years in B2B demand generation or digital marketing, including 7+ years in B2B SaaS.
  • 5+ years leading multi-region teams and agencies, ideally across North America, EMEA and APAC.
  • A proven record of owning a pipeline target and growing marketing-sourced pipeline at an efficient CAC.
  • Hands-on depth in SEO, paid search and paid social, plus working knowledge of AI search optimization (GEO/AEO).
  • Experience running a corporate website as a conversion engine, including CMS migration, Conversion Rate Optimization programs and multi-language localization.
  • Strong analytical skills in funnel analytics, attribution, experiment design and BI tools; comfort working with SQL or data teams.
  • Advanced experience with Salesforce and a major marketing automation platform (e.g., HubSpot, Pardot/Account Engagement or Marketo), plus intent/ABM, enrichment and conversion tools (e.g., 6sense, Clay, GA4, tag management).
  • Enough technical knowledge of web technologies (HTML/CSS, tag management, APIs and integrations) to lead developers and agencies effectively.
  • Practical use of generative AI in marketing workflows, with sound judgment on quality, brand and data privacy.
  • Ability to operate both strategically and tactically, and to manage multiple programs in a fast-paced, change-embracing environment.

Preferred

  • Experience in telematics, fleet, transportation, IoT or vertical SaaS, selling to SMB through enterprise.
  • Experience marketing in Spanish-speaking and LATAM markets.
  • Agency-side experience.
  • Experience with competitive-displacement campaigns and partner or channel marketing programs.
