Volt is immediately hiring for a Shipping & Receiving Forklift Driver in Visalia, CA.

As a Shipping & Receiving Forklift Driver, you will:

• Load and unload products from trucks using a forklift or box clamp lift.
• Pull orders from warehouse bays and stage products for shipment.
• Verify all incoming and outgoing products for accuracy and proper identification.
• Stencil and label products to ensure proper customer identification and prevent loss.
• Verify product locations and inventory accuracy within warehouse bays.
• Use the RF inventory system to scan, track, pull, and put away products.
• Inspect forklifts and clamp trucks at the beginning of each shift to ensure brakes, mirrors, horns, and other safety equipment are functioning properly.
• Double-check staged orders for accurate quantities and mixed products before shipment.
• Load verified products into the appropriate trailers and secure shipments with seals as required.
• Submit completed shipping paperwork to the Shipping Clerk for bill of lading preparation.

This is a full-time, temp-to-hire opportunity!

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 4pm-12am subject to weekends and overtime

The ideal candidate will have:

• 3+ years recent Sit-down forklift experience manufacturing environment
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time with scheduled breaks
• Prior experience utilizing pallet jack
• Must be able to bend forward momentarily up to 90 degrees when repairing or maintaining machines.
• Overtime will be required as necessary including weekends.

Hourly Rate: $19.14 per hour

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
