Volt is immediately hiring a Cup Machine Operator in Visalia, CA.

As a Cup Operator, you will:

• Operate and monitor heat seal and glue seal machines used in paper cup production.
• Load paper stock and production materials into machines.
• Monitor machine performance and check fluid levels to ensure proper operation.
• Make routine machine adjustments as needed to maintain production.
• Keep machines and surrounding production areas clean and organized.
• Clean spills promptly and maintain a safe work environment.
• Identify and report machine or product quality issues.
• Communicate quality concerns with the Quality Department and packing team.
• Help ensure machines remain in good working condition to minimize production interruptions.

This is a full-time, temp-to-hire opportunity!

Schedule: Monday - Friday 4pm-12am + OT and weekends

The ideal candidate will have:

• 2+ years recent experience manufacturing/industrial machine operator experience required.
• Prior experience utilizing pallet jack – highly preferred
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, primarily on concrete surfaces.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 35 lbs.
• Ability to safely use step stools and ladders up to 10 feet.
• Ability to bend, reach, and perform physical tasks required for equipment inspection, maintenance, and repair.
• Must be available to work overtime and weekends as needed.

Pay rate: $20.01 per hour

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
