Volt is immediately hiring CNC Machine Operator on Forest Park GA

As a CNC Machine Operator, you will:

• Be comfortable with setting up and operating CNC plasma/laser cutting machines.
• Be comfortable with reading blueprints, drawings, and work orders.
• Be comfortable with loading and running CNC programs.
• Be comfortable checking material size, type, and thickness before cutting.
• Be comfortable with monitoring machine performance and part quality.
• Be comfortable with measuring and inspecting finished parts.
• Be comfortable with troubleshooting minor machine issues.

This is a full time, Contract opportunity.

The ideal candidate will have:

• High school diploma/GED.
• Experience with CNC machines or similar manufacturing equipment.
• Read blueprints and production drawings.
• Good math, measuring skills and Basic computer skills.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications:

• Experience with CNC plasma cutting systems (Vicon, Vulcan, Hypertherm, etc.).
• Forklift experience or certification.
• Knowledge of metal fabrication processes.
• Experience with nesting software and CNC programming.
• Understanding of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement practices.

Pay Rate: $17.00 - $17.41.00 per hour.

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
