Your Role as the Final Assembly & Shipping Associate
As a Final Assembly & Shipping Associate at Vidor Garage Door, you play a critical role in the final stages of our production process. The Final Assembly & Shipping Associate is responsible for performing final quality control checks on all finished products. Assembles windows for the designer and builds doors, packaging doors, and loading products onto installers’ trucks and freight.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Perform final quality control checks on finished products
- Assemble windows and build doors as needed
- Package doors and load installer and freight trucks
- Handle panels carefully to prevent damage
- Operate the banding machine and identify quality concerns
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
What We’re Looking For
- Detail-oriented with pride in quality work
- Able to lift 75-90 lbs, stand, and move throughout the shift
- Comfortable using basic tools and equipment
- Reliable, communicative, and team-focused
- Manufacturing or construction experience is a plus
- Experience or willingness to learn Salesforce
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Basic computer skills
