Fiber Optic Splicer
The Fiber Optic Splicer performs installation, splicing, termination, testing, troubleshooting, maintenance, restoration, and documentation of Victoria Electric Cooperative's and Infinium's fiber optic network. This position supports aerial, underground, and indoor fiber optic systems while maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality, and network reliability. The position requires proficiency with fusion splicing, OTDR testing, optical loss analysis, network documentation, and independent troubleshooting of outside plant and customer premise connectivity.
