Custodian

Responsible for maintaining clean and hazard-free office and production areas.

• Clean break room to include wiping tables, picking up trash, sweeping and mopping
• Clean restrooms in plant and office areas
• Clean office area to include sweeping, mopping and emptying trash
• Empty dumpster and trash cans as needed
• Clean/Sweep around buildings on the track
• Sweep around saws, tables, and production areas
• Operate cardboard compactor
• Assist in safety painting/striping when required
• Maintain good housekeeping practices with an emphasis on safety regulations
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED) preferred
• Minimum of six (6) months’ custodial experience
• Ability to operate a tow motor (certification required after training)
• Ability to interpret instructions (both written and verbal)
• Ability to effectively carry out instructions with little supervision
• Ability to handle problems involving variables in schedule
• Must be dependable and reliable
• Drivers License Required
