This exciting opportunity includes the ability to work remotely traveling to project jobsites and has tremendous career growth opportunities. We offer continued professional development at our state-of-the-art training facility, competitive compensation, lucrative overtime pay, and excellent benefits that are above industry standards. ERS is a subsidiary of Vertiv (formerly Emerson Network Power). While ERS has been a leader in the commissioning of mission critical facilities for over a decade, Vertiv is committed to creating a world class Commissioning Group. This is a large-scale effort to provide comprehensive services to our current customers and to expand our commissioning services nationally and internationally. As part of its plan to grow the Commissioning Group, we have several exciting opportunities for all levels of experience for both Mechanical and Electrical Building Commissioning Engineers.

Review mechanical and controls submittals for compliance with design intent and commissioning requirements.
Develop commissioning plans, specifications, forms, checklists, and project documentation.
Interpret and apply contract documents, including drawings, specifications, sequences of operation, and control narratives.
Develop pre-functional, functional performance, and integrated systems testing procedures and scripts.
Execute commissioning tests and verify system performance in accordance with project requirements.
Identify, track, coordinate, and report commissioning issues through resolution.
Prepare and assemble commissioning reports, system readiness documentation, and final project deliverables.
Conduct site observations and inspections to verify proper installation, startup, and operation of mechanical systems.
Work safely and effectively in active construction environments while maintaining compliance with company and site safety requirements.
Collaborate with owners, design consultants, contractors, vendors, and operations personnel throughout all phases of the commissioning process.
Serve as the commissioning lead on small to moderately sized projects, with responsibility for planning, coordination, communication, and execution.
Monitor project schedules and commissioning milestones to help ensure timely project delivery.
Provide regular project updates and maintain clear communication with clients and project stakeholders.
Build and maintain strong client relationships through responsive service and technical excellence.
Assist with project management activities, including scope management, resource planning, budgeting, scheduling, and proposal support.
Support business development efforts by identifying opportunities for additional commissioning and related professional services.

Experience with the operation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and optimization of mechanical equipment and building systems.
Ability to independently plan, organize, schedule, and execute commissioning activities for medium- to large-scale projects and programs.
