Position : Cassandra Sr. Developer Location: Bentonville, AR Type : Full Time Permanent
Job Description:
Mandatory Technical / Functional Skills :
- Good understanding of No-SQL Concepts (CAP Theorem), proposing solutions or use-cases for cassandra
- Expert on Migration data from RDBMS to Cassandra
- Expert on Cassandra Design Principles
- Should help or provide guidelines to Admin team for Performance Tuning
- Experience work on Massive data set
- Hands on Java
- Experience at technical lead level
- Ability to communicate well with business as well as technical audience
- Experience of working in Agile development
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Roles and responsibility :
- Cassandra DB implementation
- DB/Data Migration
- Performance Improvement
- Cassandra-Java Integration / Service Creation & Implementation
- Cassandra implementation in Cloud
- Version Upgrades and DB Maintenance
Desirable Technical / Functional Skills :
- Experience in Cloud development (working with OneOps is a plus or other cloud webservices tool like AWS etc)
- Worked in onsite offshore model
- Flexibility in working hours
