We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Aides to provide exceptional support and care to individuals in various settings, including home, community, assisted living, and long-term care facilities. This role involves assisting clients with daily activities, monitoring health status, and ensuring their safety and comfort. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to patient-centered care, excellent communication skills, and relevant experience in senior or disability care. Prior experience with dementia, Alzheimer's, autism, or developmental disabilities is highly valued. Duties Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting. Provide medication reminders and assist with medication administration following care plans. Monitor vital signs and observe patient conditions for any changes or concerns. Support patients with mobility needs, including the use of Hoyer lifts or other assistive devices. Prepare nutritious meals and assist with meal planning in accordance with dietary requirements. Maintain cleanliness of living spaces through light cleaning and sanitation tasks. Document patient observations accurately while adhering to HIPAA regulations. Support patients during activities such as walking, social engagement, and recreational activities. Assist with transportation to medical appointments or community outings when necessary. Follow individualized care plans developed by healthcare professionals or social workers. Ensure safety protocols are followed at all times to prevent falls or injuries. You must be at least 18 years of age, have 2 valid forms of ID, have empathy and compassion, and have excellent communication skills. We also offer the NYS PCA Training for FREE at our local office.
