Contract to hire · Operating Partner pathway (CIO / digital track) You will judge whether the target's systems can support the deal thesis, and whether a breach is waiting to happen. In industrial targets that means both enterprise IT and the plant floor. What you'll do

  • Assess cybersecurity controls, incident history, and data security protocols.

  • Check regulatory frameworks such as CMMC, NIST 800-171, SOC 2, HIPAA, or FDA data integrity rules.
  • Estimate technical debt, separation or carve-out costs, and required capex.
  • Plan Day 1 IT readiness, TSAs, and Industry 4.0 / digital transformation opportunities.
  • After close, lead systems integration and cybersecurity remediation.

What you bring

  • 8+ years in IT leadership, IT advisory, or cybersecurity; prior M&A or carve-out experience.
  • Working knowledge of ERP (SAP, Oracle, Epicor, or similar) and manufacturing systems.
