  • Analyze legacy source code, including C/C++ and Oracle-based applications, to support system modernization and the translation of business requirements into technical user stories.
  • Perform full-lifecycle software development activities, including solution design, application development, unit testing, and system testing.
  • Develop high-quality, maintainable code that satisfies approved user stories, technical requirements, and acceptance criteria.
  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable microservices using Java Spring Boot and RESTful APIs.
  • Develop complex SQL queries, PL/SQL, stored procedures, and database integration solutions supporting Oracle Exadata environments.
  • Perform database query optimization and performance tuning to improve application efficiency and reliability.
  • Build, deploy, configure, and maintain containerized applications and microservices within Red Hat OpenShift and Kubernetes environments.
  • Develop and support automated build and deployment processes using CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Jenkins, Git, and Maven.
  • Participate in technical solution design, peer code reviews, and architectural discussions to ensure applications meet scalability, maintainability, and security requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional development teams, architects, and business stakeholders to evaluate requirements and implement effective technical solutions.
  • Participate in Agile/Scrum activities, including sprint planning, estimation, backlog refinement, and other development ceremonies.
  • Implement and maintain application monitoring, logging, and performance optimization practices.
  • Troubleshoot complex application, database, and deployment issues to ensure reliable system operation.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives focused on application performance, software quality, and modernization.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent relevant professional experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of professional software development experience, including at least 3 years of full-stack development experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of professional experience supporting full-lifecycle software development using Java Spring Boot, RESTful APIs, and/or modern front-end frameworks such as React or Angular.
  • Minimum of 5 years of professional experience supporting large-scale data migration efforts, including the development of complex SQL queries, PL/SQL, stored procedures, and database performance optimization for Oracle Exadata.
  • Minimum of 5 years of professional experience developing microservices within OpenShift or Kubernetes environments using Jenkins, Git, Maven, or similar technologies.
  • Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience with Red Hat OpenShift or other Kubernetes-based container platforms, including containerization, pod management, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Strong understanding of microservices architecture, enterprise application development, and RESTful API integration.
  • Demonstrated experience analyzing legacy applications and translating business requirements into technical specifications and development tasks.
  • Experience developing, testing, troubleshooting, and maintaining enterprise applications throughout the software development lifecycle.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to independently evaluate complex technical challenges.
  • Experience working within Agile/Scrum development teams.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain complex technical issues to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
