Training & Development Specialist

Training & Development Specialist Salary: $58,000/year

We are seeking a Training & Development Specialist to support employee training, onboarding, and workforce development within a manufacturing environment. This role will create training materials, maintain documentation, facilitate learning, and partner with operations leaders to improve employee performance, safety, and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and improve employee training programs and onboarding.
• Create SOPs, work instructions, and training materials.
• Maintain training records, skills matrices, and certifications.
• Facilitate training sessions and cross-training initiatives.
• Manage LMS platforms and track training effectiveness.
• Support safety, regulatory, and compliance training.
• Partner with managers to identify training needs and improve processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Training & Development, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of training, onboarding, or employee development experience in manufacturing, production, industrial, or distribution settings.
• Experience developing training materials and facilitating group training.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, training systems, and LMS platforms.
• Strong communication, organization, and presentation skills.
