Senior Financial Analyst

We are seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join a growing finance and accounting team. This position will play a key role in financial planning, forecasting, reporting, and analysis while also supporting select accounting activities. The ideal candidate combines strong FP&A experience with a solid understanding of accounting and enjoys turning financial data into meaningful insights for business leaders. This is a contract opportunity that will be 6-8 months with a possibility of extension/hire.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain financial models to support business planning and decision-making
• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting
• Assist with annual budgeting and ongoing forecasting
• Analyze actual results against budgets and forecasts and identify key variance drivers
• Prepare financial reporting packages and analysis for leadership
• Build and maintain financial reports, dashboards, and analytical tools
• Partner with business leaders to provide visibility into financial performance and spending
• Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting close documentation
• Assist with audit requests and financial reporting requirements
• Identify opportunities to improve reporting, processes, and data accuracy
• Support finance and accounting projects as needed

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
• 5+ years of corporate FP&A, financial analysis, or public accounting experience
• Strong financial modeling, forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis skills
• Solid understanding of GAAP and financial statements
• Advanced Excel skills, including PivotTables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, and INDEX/MATCH
• Experience working with ERP and financial reporting systems
• Experience with NetSuite and related reporting/planning tools strongly preferred
• Experience with business intelligence and data visualization tools is a plus
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to communicate financial information effectively to both finance and non-finance audiences
• Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
