  • Perform root-cause analysis and recommend long-term fixes
  • Monitor network performance and use telemetry to identify potential issues
  • Support network security including ACLs, IDS/IPS, NAC, VPN, and firewall technologies
  • Partner with vendors and internal teams on major upgrades and deployments
  • Maintain network diagrams, configurations, standards, and inventory documentation
  • Provide technical direction to other team members as needed

What We’re Looking For

  • 6+ years of Network Engineering or Network Administration experience
  • Strong enterprise routing and switching background
  • Hands-on experience with large LAN and WAN environments
  • Working knowledge of BGP and other routing protocols
  • Strong understanding of Layer 2 and Layer 3 networking
  • Experience with enterprise wireless networks
  • Experience configuring and troubleshooting VPNs
  • Knowledge of firewalls, ACLs, network security, and IDS/IPS
  • Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills
  • Ability to independently lead technical projects and implementations
  • Associate degree or equivalent related background

Nice to Have

  • Experience with Juniper and Junos
  • EVPN and VXLAN experience

  • Hybrid cloud or Azure networking experience

  • Structured cabling knowledge
  • Higher education experience
