Senior Accountant

Client: Manufacturing/Distribution Organization Role: Senior Accountant (Temporary to Hire) Pay Rate: $45/hr - $50/hr

Location: Midtown, Manhattan (4 days a week onsite - 1 day WFH)

Job Description:

• Maintains the general ledger.
• Prepare journal entries, reconcile accounts, and support the monthly and quarterly close process
• Codes invoices, set’s up new accounts.
• Assist with AR, AP, intercompany, Accruals and treasury
• Assist with treasury forecasting
• Reconciles bank accounts at least monthly, verifies deposits, and addresses inquiries from banks.
• Reconciles customer accounts and manages accounts receivable collections.
• Verifies payment of invoices associated with accounts payable and ensures payments are charged to the appropriate accounts.
• Provides outside auditors with assistance; gathers necessary account information and documents to perform annual audit.
• Assist with accounting policy roll out reconciliation procedures.
• Perform other duties assigned by management.
