Occupational Therapist

We are recruiting for Occupational Therapist to join a growing clinical practice on the Vancouver Island.

• Fulltime permanent position
• Location - The position primarily serves clients north of Nanaimo, BC. You will provide a combination of in-person and virtual services, with a flexible hybrid schedule and regional travel.
• Salary range - $80k - $90k +vacation+ benefits

What you’ll do :

• Provide occupational therapy services in homes, workplaces, and virtually (assessment, treatment planning, intervention, discharge).
• Work with clients with physical, cognitive, and mental health conditions using trauma-informed and culturally safe practice.
• Complete functional, cognitive, ergonomic, workplace, and home safety assessments; recommend adaptive equipment and rehabilitation plans.
• Serve a diverse range of funders: ICBC, Veterans Affairs Canada, WorkSafeBC, extended benefits, and other agencies.
• Prepare timely, high-quality documentation aligned with the standards and funder requirements.
• Apply standardized outcome measures and evidence-informed practice; contribute to clinical pathways.
• Participate in case conferences with clients, families, employers, and interdisciplinary teams.

What we’re looking for :

• A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy.
• Occupational therapy experience.
• Current registration in good standing with the College of Health and Care Professionals of BC (CHCPBC).
• A valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle.
• A clear Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Screening.
