Maintenance Supervisor

Maintenance Supervisor Location: Santa Fe Springs, CA 90670 Salary: $85,000–$90,000 annually + 5% bonus Schedule: Full-Time | On-Site Industry: Fashion / Apparel / Fulfillment & Distribution Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to lead day-to-day maintenance operations within a fast-paced fashion/apparel fulfillment and distribution center. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for supervising maintenance technicians while troubleshooting equipment issues and keeping critical warehouse and material-handling systems operational. The ideal candidate has strong experience with conveyors, sortation/material-handling equipment, electrical troubleshooting, PLCs, VFDs, and industrial maintenance, along with established supervisory experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise, coach, and provide technical direction to maintenance technicians
• Assign and prioritize daily maintenance activities and work orders
• Troubleshoot and repair conveyors, sorters, motors, gearboxes, packing equipment, and material-handling systems
• Lead preventive and corrective maintenance activities
• Troubleshoot industrial electrical systems, including 480V three-phase, 120V, and 24V DC
• Work with PLCs, VFDs, and HMIs to diagnose equipment issues
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical documentation
• Utilize CMMS systems to track maintenance activities and work orders
• Ensure proper LOTO, Arc Flash, and workplace safety procedures
• Identify recurring equipment failures and support equipment reliability

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of industrial, distribution center, fulfillment center, or equipment maintenance experience
• Previous Maintenance Supervisor or comparable leadership experience required
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
• Experience with conveyor, sortation, or automated material-handling equipment
• Knowledge of PLC, VFD, HMI, motors, gearboxes, and industrial electrical systems
• Preventive maintenance and CMMS experience
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Comfortable being a hands-on supervisor who can troubleshoot alongside the team
• Fabrication and welding experience is a plus
• Experience within fashion, apparel, e-commerce, fulfillment, or high-volume distribution environments is highly preferred
