Junior Leasing Agent

Position: Junior Leasing Agent (perm) Industry: Residential Real Estate Location: New York, NY Schedule: Wednesday–Sunday | Monday & Tuesday off Compensation: $31/hour ($65K annualized) Position Overview A well-established residential real estate owner and property management company is seeking a polished and customer-focused Junior Leasing Agent to support its growing leasing team.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct apartment showings and property tours for prospective tenants.
• Engage with prospects, answer questions, and assist with closing leases.
• Handle rental offers, pricing discussions, and follow-up communications.
• Post and maintain apartment listings on StreetEasy and other platforms.
• Coordinate with the leasing team to ensure a smooth leasing process.
• Provide professional and responsive customer service throughout the application process.

Qualifications & Requirements

• At least 1 year of residential leasing or related customer-facing experience.
• Active New York Real Estate License or currently working toward obtaining one.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
• Tech-savvy, organized, and able to work with urgency.
• Professional presentation and polished communication.
• Reliable, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, onsite environment.
• Weekend availability is required.
