Interim Controller

Interim Controller – Contract Role Location: Hybrid (3 days per week onsite) Duration: 3-6 months Start Date: ASAP

We are partnering with a growing real estate and infrastructure organization seeking an experienced Interim Controller to lead accounting operations during a transition period.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day to day accounting operations and month end close
• Manage consolidated financial reporting and GAAP compliance
• Supervise general ledger and account reconciliations
• Lead accounting across a complex multi entity environment
• Oversee work in progress and construction accounting activities
• Partner with executive leadership on financial reporting and accounting initiatives

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• Prior Controller or Assistant Controller experience
• Strong financial reporting and GAAP knowledge
• Multi entity and consolidation experience
• Construction real estate or project based accounting experience preferred
• Sage Intacct experience is a plus
