FP&A Analyst - Public Accounting Experience Required

FP&A Analyst - Hybrid Our client is seeking a highly motivated FP&A Analyst to join a growing finance team. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with leadership and key stakeholders across the business to support budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and strategic decision-making. The ideal candidate will bring a strong accounting foundation from public accounting and a desire to leverage those skills in a dynamic corporate finance environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with the annual budget process and periodic forecasts
• Analyze financial results, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to management
• Develop and maintain financial models to support business planning and strategic initiatives
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and ad hoc reporting packages for leadership
• Support variance analysis and help explain key drivers impacting business performance
• Partner with operational leaders to evaluate performance, profitability, and growth opportunities
• Improve reporting processes and contribute to finance transformation initiatives
• Participate in special projects and cross-functional business initiatives

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• Public accounting experience required
• CPA or CPA-track preferred
• Strong understanding of financial statements and financial analysis
• Advanced Excel skills and experience working with large datasets
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication abilities
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
