Accounting Manager

Job Title: Accounting Manager Location: West Phoenix (100% on-site) Pay Rate: $100,000-$120,000 annually Project Duration: Direct Hire

Vaco has partnered with a growing organization seeking an Accounting Manager with strong hands-on accounting, Accounts Payable, month-end close, and reconciliation experience.

Responsibilities:

• Support month-end close, reconciliations, journal entries, and account analysis.
• Oversee key Accounts Payable processes and day-to-day accounting activities.
• Review payroll activity for accuracy and assist with resolving discrepancies.
• Mentor accounting team members and provide day-to-day guidance.
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and controls.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Strong month-end close, reconciliation, and Accounts Payable experience.
• Leadership, mentoring, training, or team lead experience.
• Multi-entity accounting experience is highly preferred.
