Role description Senior Java / Azure Developer The Role We are seeking an experienced Senior Java / Azure Developer with 10+ years of expertise in designing, developing, and deploying scalable enterprise applications. The ideal candidate will possess strong hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot, Azure Cloud Services, Microservices, API Development, and DevOps practices. This role involves end-to-end application development, cloud-native solution design, technical leadership, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, scalable, and high-performing solutions. What You'll Do * Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade Java applications.* Build and deploy cloud-native applications using Microsoft Azure services.* Develop, enhance, and support microservices-based applications and RESTful APIs.* Participate in application architecture, technical design, and solution discussions.* Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines following DevOps best practices.* Collaborate with Product Owners, Architects, QA teams, and business stakeholders.* Conduct code reviews and enforce coding standards and best practices.* Troubleshoot production issues and optimize application performance.* Prepare technical documentation, deployment guides, and operational procedures.* Mentor junior developers and provide technical leadership to project teams.* Ensure application security, scalability, reliability, and high availability. What You Need Required * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.* 10+ years of experience in software development using Java technologies.* 3+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure cloud services.* Strong experience in cloud-native application development and modernization.* Deep understanding of distributed systems and microservices architecture.* Experience with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.* Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.* Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Preferred * Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer Associate (AZ-204)* Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104)* Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert (AZ-305)* Scrum Master or Agile Certification Location & Compensation Compensation can differ depending on factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, education, and level of experience.
