RN must have experience caring for stepdown level of care for neuro and neurosurgery patients. Must be comfortable monitoring tele, managing TBIs, seizure activity, lumbar drains, 24hr EEGs, and CVAs. Must have experience with post op craniotomy pathway, transsphenoidal resections, occasional depth electrodes (intracranial EEG), epilepsy monitoring, and grids/strips.
Healthcare Professionals must satisfy any required credentialing items before traveling to a strike. USN will prioritize booking travel arrangements for Healthcare Professionals with a complete file. If you arrive on-site with missing or outstanding items, you may not be eligible to work the strike. BLS ; ACLS ; NIHSS ; Massachusetts State License Required Travel nurses work for a limited amount of time at a particular location, providing patient care and support before moving on to their next exciting adventure.
