PREOP / Same Day Surgery RN

Preadmission Testing RN needed to support surgical patients through the preoperative assessment and clearance process. Responsibilities include conducting pre-surgery phone assessments, reviewing patient history and surgical criteria, confirming required clearances are complete, identifying potential barriers prior to the procedure date, and coordinating with clinical and surgical teams to ensure patients are appropriately prepared for surgery. Qualified candidates should have PAT, PACU, or OR nursing experience, strong assessment and communication skills, and the ability to manage preoperative workflows accurately and efficiently.

Healthcare Professionals must satisfy any required credentialing items before traveling to a strike. USN will prioritize booking travel arrangements for Healthcare Professionals with a complete file. If you arrive on-site with missing or outstanding items, you may not be eligible to work the strike. BLS; Pennsylvania State License Required or Compact Travel nurses work for a limited amount of time at a particular location, providing patient care and support before moving on to their next exciting adventure.
