Critical Care APP

Position Title: Acute Care Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant - Critical Care

Summary: Provide critical care services within the ICU while assisting with rapid response coverage and advanced bedside procedures.

Primary Responsibilities: Manage critically ill patients, Participate in rapid response events, Perform ICU admissions and evaluations, Perform advanced bedside procedures, Collaborate with intensivists and multidisciplinary teams

Procedures May Include: Intubation, Central line placement, Arterial line placement, Bronchoscopy, Chest tube placement, Paracentesis, Lumbar puncture, Point-of-care ultrasound

Qualifications: AGACNP or PA-C, Critical Care experience required

Healthcare Professionals must satisfy any required credentialing items before traveling to a strike. USN will prioritize booking travel arrangements for Healthcare Professionals with a complete file. If you arrive on-site with missing or outstanding items, you may not be eligible to work the strike. ACLS, BLS, NIHSS required; ENLS preferred; Pennsylvania State License Required Travel nurses work for a limited amount of time at a particular location, providing patient care and support before moving on to their next exciting adventure.
