The NICU Resource must be a licensed RN with a bachelor's degree in nursing required and a master's degree preferred, current NRP certification (Instructor status preferred), and demonstrated expert-level competency in Level III or IV NICU practice. The successful candidate will possess advanced clinical expertise caring for extremely low birth weight, medically complex, and critically ill neonates, including management of advanced respiratory support, hemodynamic monitoring, neonatal vascular access, high-risk admissions, delivery room stabilization, neonatal resuscitation, neurocritical care, procedural support, palliative and bereavement care, discharge planning, and family-centered education. RN will serve as the primary clinical resource for replacement staff, providing clinical guidance, support and expertise related to care of NICU patients.Unit details of the NICU: Level III NICU for neonates 22wk and greater. Must be experienced managing therapeutic hypothermia (arctic sun), monitoring patients on AEEG, Thermoregulation (giraffe isolate), hyperbilirubinemia, IV placement, Lab draws, and central lines (placement and management). Comfortable assisting with intubation, managing all vents (Jet, SIMV), Nitric Oxide, high frequency oscillator, Baxter pump, and Alaris pumps. No post-op cases. Mix Maternal Breast Milk/Formula fortification. Blood administration, high flow and EEG placement and monitoring, and NIRS monitoring exp.

If you arrive on-site with missing or outstanding items, you may not be eligible to work the strike.
