POSITION SUMMARY

The Senior Manager, Corporate FP&A partners directly with senior leadership and resource group leaders to shift FP&A from reporting results to shaping decisions. This role leads corporate budgeting, forecasting, and planning processes while driving the evolution of reporting and insights, connecting resource group initiatives to their budget impact so decisions are made proactively, and playing a central role in executive material preparation and ad hoc analysis. Just as importantly, this role helps redesign how the work gets done, applying automation, modern data tools, and AI to free capacity for decision support, analysis, review, and partnership.

This position will be located onsite at the U.S. Venture Corporate Headquarters (222).

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Strategic Planning & Performance Management

  • Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning for assigned areas, including scenario modeling and risk assessment; drive evolution toward a rolling forecast and proactive course-correction.
  • Translate strategic objectives into measurable financial targets and accountability frameworks.
  • Own the quality, timeliness, and consistency of planning and forecast deliverables across the team.

Executive Reporting & Decision Insights

  • Lead the evolution of senior leadership and monthly SLT financial review reporting, moving from variance explanation to forward-looking insight and recommendation.
  • Prepare and review Board of Directors materials in partnership with the Senior Director, Corporate FP&A and executive stakeholders.
  • Deliver high-impact ad hoc analysis on emerging questions, trends, risks, and opportunities, and help increase the share of team capacity devoted to this work.

Proactive Decision Support & Business Partnership

  • Serve as a senior financial advisor to C-suite functions, including Finance, HR, IT, Data & Analytics, Legal, Facilities, and Marketing, with regular (often weekly) engagement.
  • Connect resource group initiatives to their budget and forecast impact so leaders evaluate trade-offs before decisions are made, rather than reflecting them after the fact.
  • Influence decisions across investment, cost structure, and resource allocation.

Transforming How We Work

  • Identify and lead opportunities to automate, standardize, and simplify planning, forecasting, and reporting processes.
  • Actively explore, pilot, and apply AI and modern analytics tools to improve speed, quality, and insight, and share what works with the broader team.
  • Partner with Finance, IT, and Data teams to strengthen data foundations and analytics capabilities.

Team Leadership & Capability Building

  • Lead, coach, and develop FP&A Analysts and Senior Analysts; set standards for analytical quality, review rigor, and business partnership.
  • Build team digital fluency and champion modern planning practices, model standards, and continuous improvement.
  • Contribute to succession planning and capability development across Corporate FP&A.

Additional Job Responsibilities

  • Live our values of High Performance, Caring Relationships, Strategic Foresight, and Entrepreneurial Spirit.
  • Find A Better Way by championing continuous improvement and quality control efforts to identify opportunities to innovate and improve efficiency, accuracy, and standardization.
  • Continuously learn and develop self professionally.
  • Support corporate efforts for safety, government compliance, and all other company policies & procedures.
  • Perform other related duties as required and assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
  • 7-10 years of progressive FP&A or corporate finance experience, including 2+ years formally leading analysts or senior individual contributors (direct reports preferred; sustained team lead responsibility considered).
  • Proven success owning planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes and delivering executive-ready analysis and recommendations to senior leaders.
  • Strong financial modeling, analytics, and performance management expertise, with excellent communication skills.
  • Demonstrated, hands-on curiosity about AI and automation, with real examples of applying them to work, however early-stage.

Preferred:

  • MBA, CFA, or CMA.
  • Experience supporting Board, senior executive, or investor relations financial materials.
  • Experience with SQL, Python, Power BI/Tableau, or modern planning platforms.
  • Experience leading process redesign or automation within a finance function.
