Machine Operator – 1st and 2nd Shift

Essential Functions

• Operate a miter saw to cut aluminum.

• Set up mills, drill presses, miter saws, and other equipment for secondary operations.

• Use jigs and fixtures to ensure accurate production.

• Perform other production jobs as needed in other departments, including shipping and welding.

• Follow established procedures, policies, laws, guidelines, OSHA requirements, and company safety standards.

Qualifications

Basic Knowledge and Skills

• Experience operating a miter saw.

• Ability to accurately set measurements and angles.

• Ability to operate manual machining equipment, including mills, drill presses, and hand tools.

• Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.

• Ability to read diagrams, blueprints, and assembly procedures.

• Ability to regularly lift heavy materials above head level.
