Job Description

United Parcel Services General Services Co. seeks Lead Software Development Engineer in Mahwah, NJ:

Job Duties: Lead and mentor a team of developers, providing guidance and support in project execution and skill development. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project objectives, scope, and timelines. Architect and design robust software solutions using C#, .NET Core, Azure, and AngularJS, ensuring high-quality code and optimal system performance. Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards, best practices, and security protocols. Troubleshoot technical issues, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions to maintain system stability. Provide technical leadership and guidance in the utilization of Azure services and cloud best practices for application deployment and scalability. Actively engage in hands-on work with Docker and Kubernetes to manage containerized applications effectively. Maintain a professional and precise communication style to interact with team members, stakeholders, and clients effectively. Partial telecommuting is an option. Hybrid work from company office in Mahwah, NJ.

Minimum Requirements: Master’s degree (or its foreign degree equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering (any field), or a related quantitative discipline, and two (2) years of experience in the job offered or in any occupation in related field

Special Skill Requirements: (1) Angular; (2) Azure DevOps; (3) Web automation tools; (4) MVC; (5) Conducting integration and unit testing; (6) Full responsibility for the end-to-end software development cycle; (7) Implementing new technologies to maximize application performance. Any suitable combination of education, training and/or experience is acceptable. Partial telecommuting is an option. Hybrid work from company office in Mahwah, NJ.

Salary: $137,717 - $220,560 per annum and standard company benefits.
