General Labor Location: Bremerton, WA Department: Operations Starting Pay Scale: $18.50 - $22.00

Reports to:

Operations manager United Moving & Storage is looking for highly motivated and energized self-starters for our General Labor Position. This position preforms operational functions, contributing to the efficiency and effectiveness of the moving process. This role requires adaptability, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work as part of a team. MUST BE ABLE TO PASS BACKGROUND CHECK AND DRUG TEST.

Key Responsibilities

• Assisting with Loading and Unloading: Help load and unload moving vehicles with care to ensure items are handled properly.
• Packing and Unpacking: Assist customers and team members with packing items securely and unpacking at the destination.
• Organizing Equipment: Maintain and organize moving equipment and supplies, ensuring everything is in good condition.
• General Clean-Up: Keep work areas clean and organized, removing debris and ensuring safety standards are met.
• Team Support: Work collaboratively with movers to facilitate smooth operations during moves and maintain a positive work environment.
• Customer Service: Interact courteously with customers, providing assistance as needed and ensuring a satisfactory experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience in labor-intensive jobs or moving services is beneficial.
• Ability to lift heavy items (up to 75 lbs) and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Dependability and punctuality are essential.
• Valid Driver’s license

Job Type
