JOB STANDARDS - High school diploma (or equivalent) plus work experience which meets the minimum essential functions of the position. - Must have good verbal and written communication skills. - Must have normal hearing and normal vision, with the aid of corrective devices, as needed. - Demonstrates regular and predictable attendance. - Consistently and continually represents the agency in a positive and professional manner and provides appropriate internal and external customer service. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Drives assigned vehicle to transport clients to receive assistance or services. Assists disabled clients into and out of vehicles, to and from homes, etc., requiring the ability to bend, twist, push and lift as required. This includes the ability to lift up to 70 pounds, exert up to 20-50 pounds of force occasionally, and 10-26 pounds of force frequently. Drives to County facilities to transport clients home or to other facilities, as required.
