Concrete Carpenter / Concrete Finisher
Location: Murfreesboro, TN
Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour (Based on Experience)
Schedule: Monday - Thursday, 4 x 10-hour shifts (40 hours per week)

Job Summary
We are seeking experienced Concrete Carpenters and Concrete Finishers to join our growing construction team in Murfreesboro, TN. This position is ideal for skilled professionals who take pride in producing high-quality concrete work on commercial, industrial, and civil construction projects. Candidates should have experience with forming, placing, finishing, and repairing concrete while maintaining a strong commitment to safety and craftsmanship.
Responsibilities
Concrete Carpenter Duties
- Construct, set, and strip concrete forms using wood and metal forming systems.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and project specifications.
- Measure and layout formwork according to project requirements.
- Install embeds, anchor bolts, and reinforcing materials.
- Ensure forms are level, plumb, and properly aligned.
- Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently.
Concrete Finisher Duties
- Place, level, and finish concrete surfaces.
- Screed, float, edge, and trowel concrete to desired specifications.
- Apply curing compounds and surface treatments.
- Repair and patch concrete surfaces as needed.
- Maintain quality standards and ensure finished products meet project requirements.
- Work closely with crew members to complete projects on schedule.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of concrete construction experience preferred.
- Experience with commercial, industrial, or civil concrete projects.
- Ability to read blueprints and construction drawings.
- Knowledge of concrete forming and finishing techniques.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physically demanding work.
- Reliable transportation and strong attendance record.
- Ability to work safely in a construction environment.
- OSHA 10 certification is a plus but not required.
