Cafeteria Worker

Ukrainian Academy Inc. is seeking a full-time Cafeteria Worker at our Parma Heights, OH location.

The Cafeteria Worker is responsible for assisting with daily food service operations in a licensed childcare facility. Duties include, but are not limited to:

• Preparing and portioning simple meals and snacks according to established menus and childcare nutrition guidelines
• Assisting with basic food preparation such as washing, cutting, and assembling ingredients
• Serving meals to children and staff in a safe, clean, and timely manner
• Maintaining cleanliness and sanitation of the kitchen, food preparation areas, equipment, and dining areas
• Washing dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment
• Properly storing food supplies and monitoring inventory levels
• Following food safety, hygiene, and childcare health regulations
• Assisting with receiving and organizing food deliveries
• Communicating with kitchen staff and childcare staff to ensure meal schedules are met
• Supporting a culturally appropriate meal environment, including preparation of Ukrainian-style foods as part of the center's regular menu offerings

Requirements: High school diploma or GED. 12 months of experience as a Cafeteria Worker.
