UTILIZATION MANAGEMENT COORDINATOR

FULL TIME

The Utilization Management Coordinator is responsible for conducting admission and concurrent reviews. The UM Coordinator tracks and reports denials in MIDAS, participates in staff/physician education relative to medical record documentation and actively participates in the UM Committee by tracking data and trends to be reviewed in order to improve the quality of systems. The UM Coordinator works with all disciplines within the hospital to assist with quality of care as it relates to education relative to medical record documentation,

Qualifications

Experience Required: A minimum of three (3) years direct clinical experience in a medical-psychiatric, psychiatric or mental health setting and at least two years experience in utilization management

Education Required:. R.N. or M.S.W. or other Master’s Level mental health professional licensed or certified in the State of Illinois.
