Many temporary employees go on to become successful candidates for career and limited appointment positions at UCSF.

  • Prepare and submit funding entries to support accurate employee funding and financial administration.

  • Support the creation and processing of Affiliate Hires for Workforce Development programs.
  • Maintain and update the worker database to ensure accurate participant and appointment information.
  • Participate in Workforce Development meetings and collaborate with program partners to support hiring, onboarding, and ongoing workforce needs.

  • Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of staff.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet demanding deadlines.
  • Working knowledge of common organization-specific systems and other computer applications.
  • Ability to exercise discretion and maintain confidentiality.
  • 2–3 years of related administrative or operational support experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
