WHERE PASSION + PURPOSE ALIGN

We are the curious. Problem solvers. Driven to unlock the potential in every system. Across five countries are 1,100 engineers, designers, and consultants collaborating to elevate the human experience, create more resilient communities, and protect the health of the planet. We transform the built environment by creating dynamic solutions - living systems - that are smart, resilient, and connected.

At Introba, this is why we show up every day. To use our curiosity for good. To inspire change. To empower changemakers

Introba provides world-class building engineering design, analytic, and consulting services at all scales, specializing in net-zero first thinking. Through the cultivation of thought leadership, we deliver sustainable and forward-thinking solutions to the most complex design challenges facing the world's leading clients and partners.

Job Summary

The Aviation Security Technology Engineer role requires 8-10 years of technology (ultra-low voltage/ICT systems) and security engineering and leadership experience with progressively increasing levels of responsibility in an AEC or consulting environment. Eight-plus (8+) years of hands-on, direct client-facing engineering/design of systems and client management in our primary market sectors, with an emphasis on the Airport market.

The Aviation Security Technology Engineer serves as Introba's primary day-to-day technical representative supporting a major aviation program. This role provides the critical interface between the client, the prime consultant, airport stakeholders, and Introba's multidisciplinary technology engineering team.

The successful candidate will have sufficient aviation security technology consulting and engineering experience to confidently discuss the planning, design, coordination, and delivery of airport physical, technical, and operational security systems.

This position requires an understanding of airport capital project delivery, design coordination, consultant relationships, and stakeholder management. Success depends on the ability to recognize project risks, identify coordination issues before they become problems, maintain positive working relationships with the owner and prime consultant, and identify opportunities for Introba to add value through expanded services.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

Responsibilities:

Client and Project Coordination

+ Maintain regular communication with the owner, prime consultant, and project stakeholders.

+ Represent Introba during meetings, workshops, design reviews, and coordination sessions.

+ Develop strong working relationships while maintaining professionalism and technical credibility.

+ Conduct yourself inside and outside the office in a manner that reflects the dignity and professional attitude of Introba. Foster and maintain a superior customer service attitude within the segment and across Introba.

+ Routinely seek customer feedback. Respond to and resolve issues as they arise. Handle customer and employee requests, complaints, and problems in a timely manner in accordance with Introba policy.

Technical Coordination Skills

+ Coordinate closely with Introba's security, ICT, and aviation technology subject matter experts to understand design direction, communicate project decisions, and ensure technical consistency across project phases.

+ Understand project objectives sufficiently to discuss system concepts, design progression, schedule, and technical direction with clients.

+ Facilitate timely resolution of technical questions between project stakeholders and the engineering team.

+ Monitor design progression and ensure deliverables remain aligned with project requirements.

+ Maintain professional registrations and/or other appropriate certifications through ongoing technical training.

+ Passenger & Baggage Screening Technologies

Additional Understanding of Systems:

+ Unmanned aerial vehicles

+ Biometric/Facial Recognition Systems

+ Fiber Optic Infrastructure

+ Wireless Communications

+ Voice Communications

Detailed engineering expertise in every system is not required; however, the ability to discuss system purpose, interfaces, and typical design considerations is essential.

Project Delivery

+ Be able to participate throughout planning, design, procurement, construction, testing, commissioning, and turnover as needed.

+ Identify schedule, scope, and coordination risks.

+ Facilitate communication between design disciplines.

+ Monitor design progression from planning through construction and coordinate resolution of technical and stakeholder issues affecting project delivery.

+ Support issue resolution throughout project delivery.

Relationship Management

+ Develop trusted working relationships with owner representatives, architects, engineers, contractors, and technology vendors.

+ Recognize emerging project needs where Introba can provide additional engineering or consulting services.

+ Assist project leadership with proposal development, scope definition, and strategic client engagement when opportunities arise.

+ Proactively recognize project, communication, and relationship issues before they affect project delivery or client confidence.

+ Experience supporting airport planning, design, or construction projects.

+ Experience coordinating multidisciplinary engineering teams.

+ Experience working directly with airport operators, authorities, airlines, and government agencies.
