What You'll Do

As a Driller Trainee, you'll work alongside experienced professionals and learn the skills needed to become a successful driller. You'll play a critical role in helping our team safely and efficiently complete drilling operations while delivering outstanding service to our customers.

You will gain experience in:

• Operating surface drill rigs in quarry and mining environments
• Understanding drilling techniques and geological formations
• Performing equipment inspections and routine maintenance
• Troubleshooting equipment issues in the field
• Following and promoting safe work practices
• Working closely with team members to achieve production goals
• Representing Two Eight professionally at customer job sites

What We're Looking For

No drilling experience? No problem. We're looking for individuals with the right attitude and willingness to learn.

Successful candidates will have:

• A strong work ethic and positive attitude
• Desire to learn a skilled trade
• Ability to work safely and follow established procedures
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
• Physical ability to perform demanding tasks
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen
• Willingness to travel as needed
