Server Job Responsibilities:

• Serves guests with food and beverages in a positive and friendly manner.
• Maintains dining ambiance with an enthusiastic attitude.
• Protects establishment and patrons by adhering to sanitation, safety, and alcohol beverage control policies.
• Extensive knowledge of our menu to provide information helping guests select food and beverages by suggestions, explaining the specials, identifying appropriate beverage pairings, and answering food preparation questions.
• Accuracy and attention to detail with orders to bar and kitchen.
• Communicates effectively with bar and kitchen staff.
• Serves orders by picking up and delivering patrons’ choices from bar and kitchen and delivering accompaniments and condiments from service bars.
• Responds to additional patron requirements by inquiring of needs and observing dining process.
• Maintains table setting by removing courses as completed, replenishing utensils, refilling water glasses, and being alert to patron spills or other special needs.
• Basic math skills required to obtain revenues by totaling charges, issuing bills, accepting payments, delivering bills and payments to host, and returning change or credit card and signature slip to patrons.
• Be able to work on your feet in a fast paced service environment.
• Light lifting capability of thirty pounds at a time.

Bartender Job Requirements and Responsibilities:

• Two years of bar or restaurant experience is desired
• Current New Mexico Server License and New Mexico Food Handler's Cerification
• Provides a pleasant experience to customers.
• Serves drinks while maintaining a clean and sanitary bar area.
• Attends to the detail and presentation of each order.
• Prepares and maintains ingredients by following recipes.
• Adheres to proper alcohol handling, sanitation, and safety procedures, and maintains appropriate dating, labeling, and rotation of all beverage items.
• Coordinates daily supply inventory for bar and submits orders to supervisor; assists with receipt of deliveries.
• Contributes to daily, holiday, and theme drink menus in collaboration with supervisor.
• Ensures smooth operation of bar services during absence of supervisor.
• Completes cleaning according to daily and weekly schedules, including dishwashing as needed.
• Assists with orienting new employees to their work area.
• Listens to customer complaints and suggestions and resolves complaints.
• Be able to work on your feet in a fast paced service environment.
• Light lifting capability of thirty pounds at a time.
