What You'll Do

As a Certified Medication Aide with TK Health, you'll work alongside licensed nursing staff and other healthcare professionals to support daily patient care.

Responsibilities may include:

• Administer medications as authorized under your certification and applicable regulations.

• Accurately document medication administration and related patient information.

• Observe and report changes in patient conditions to licensed nursing staff.

• Assist with routine patient care activities within your authorized scope.

• Maintain accurate medication records and follow established procedures.

• Collaborate with the healthcare team to promote safe, consistent patient care.

• Follow facility policies, safety procedures, and correctional healthcare standards.

Qualifications

• Valid Medication Aide Certification

• Valid Texas Driver's License

• Current CPR Certification

• Ability to successfully pass a background check

• Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork skills

• Dependable, professional, and comfortable working in a secure healthcare setting
