Staff Product Manager

ABOUT THE ROLE

Join an AI-focused legal technology team as its first product manager, taking a contract management platform from zero to one. You will set product direction and work closely with engineering and customer-facing legal specialists to deliver AI-powered contracting capabilities.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Own product strategy and the roadmap, making clear decisions about what to build and when.
• Gather and synthesize customer feedback from legal specialists working directly with enterprise customers.
• Partner with engineers to scope deliverables and adapt planning for rapid AI-assisted development.
• Discuss AI and agent architecture tradeoffs with engineers, and prototype concepts with tools such as Claude Code or Cursor.
• Build core product practices, including prioritization, documentation, launches, and success measurement.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• Five to ten years of product management experience, including roadmap ownership on an AI-focused engineering team.
• Experience shipping core AI or LLM-based products to production and working with agentic systems, including evaluation, latency, model behavior, or context management.
• Technical depth in complex AI products and the ability to collaborate closely with engineers on implementation tradeoffs.
• Product experience at B2B SaaS or AI-native companies, with early-stage startup experience, founding experience, or experience as a first product manager.
• Experience prototyping with AI developer tools such as Claude Code or Cursor; SQL or coding-agent experience for analyzing product data is useful.
• A track record of sustained tenure in recent roles and experience building customer-facing products beyond internal tools, HR workflows, or APIs and integrations.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

Base salary: $180,000 to $250,000 annually. Visa sponsorship is available.
