Software Engineer, Infrastructure

ABOUT THE ROLE

Join the platform team at a cybersecurity company building identity governance software for enterprise customers. You will develop and own core infrastructure systems that support a secure, reliable, and scalable platform, while helping product engineers deliver features effectively.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Build and maintain infrastructure components that support platform stability, security, scalability, and performance.
• Take ownership of critical systems and make architectural decisions with significant autonomy.
• Create tools and best practices that help product engineers build and ship software efficiently.
• Collaborate with engineering, product, and company leadership on roadmaps and technical decisions.
• Work with enterprise customers on product feedback and infrastructure-related issues.
• Improve engineering practices and processes across the platform team.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• At least 4 years of experience as a software engineer building distributed systems.
• Strong software engineering fundamentals and experience developing services and systems on an infrastructure or platform team.
• Backend development experience in Go or a comparable systems language.
• Experience building or scaling systems for enterprise workloads or multi-tenant SaaS.
• Production experience deploying, scaling, and monitoring cloud infrastructure on AWS or GCP.
• Working familiarity with Kubernetes, Terraform, and Kafka.
• Experience creating internal developer platforms or tools used by product engineering teams is valuable.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

Base salary: $160,000 to $250,000 annually. Visa sponsorship is available.

Hybrid in San Francisco, California.
