Software Engineer

ABOUT THE ROLE

Join a fintech team building software that helps institutional investors bring scattered financial data together and automate reporting and reconciliation. You will work across the product, from document-processing systems to AI agents that produce reports for clients.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Build and improve backend services and full-stack product features across the platform.
• Develop systems for processing financial documents and extracting useful information.
• Shape AI agents that turn client requests into completed reports and workflows.
• Work directly with clients to understand needs and deliver practical solutions.
• Use sound engineering judgment to guide what gets built and ensure shipped work is reliable.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• Two to ten years of professional software engineering experience, including at least two years in a full-time software engineering role.
• Full-stack experience owning work end to end, with strong backend development skills.
• Experience with Python, React, TypeScript, AWS, and databases such as PostgreSQL or MongoDB.
• Familiarity with Linux and cloud infrastructure.
• Extensive use of AI programming tools and good judgment applying them to software development.
• Strong fundamentals, clear communication, and an ability to take initiative in an early-stage startup environment.
• Finance experience is not required.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

Base salary: $140,000 to $240,000 annually. Visa sponsorship is available.

LOCATION

On-site in Seattle, Washington. Candidates must be willing to work from the Seattle office or relocate before starting.
