ABOUT THE ROLE
Join a biotechnology team building software that supports clinical trials and helps scientists analyze immune system data. As an early engineering team member, you will contribute across the product, from customer-facing tools to lab workflow automation.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Build full-stack product features, including clinical trial dashboards, sample notifications, and data visualization tools.
- Improve data visualization pipelines and deliver reliable software for clinical trial workflows.
- Apply machine learning techniques to automate cancer cell boundary detection in cytometry data.
- Automate lab workflows from sample preparation through data analysis.
- Work directly with scientists and clients to understand needs and contribute to product development.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- Two to five years of full-stack software engineering experience, with proficiency in Python.
- Recent experience primarily using Python or TypeScript, plus experience with React for front-end development.
- Experience processing data and shipping production software used by real customers.
- Experience with at least one cloud platform: AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- An undergraduate degree and evidence of building products, not only research or academic projects.
- Experience with customer-facing dashboards or visualization tools and complex scientific datasets is valuable.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
Base salary: $90,000 to $185,000 annually. Visa sponsorship is available.
LOCATION
On-site in Salt Lake City, Utah.
