Senior Software Engineer, Design

ABOUT THE ROLE

Join a fintech product team as a senior engineer focused on design and frontend craft. You will turn complex mortgage workflows into intuitive experiences, bringing thoughtful visual design and production-quality engineering together.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Own the experience from wireframes in Figma through implementation in React and TypeScript.
• Build and maintain a scalable design system and component library using shadcn/ui.
• Create accessible, production-ready components with careful ARIA, keyboard, and focus management.
• Partner with product and engineering to make complex mortgage workflows clear and easy to use.
• Set and maintain visual and interaction standards across the product.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• At least 5 years of experience in a design engineering, frontend, or full-stack software engineering role, with senior-level experience.
• A production engineering background with strong React and TypeScript skills and a sharp eye for interface detail.
• Experience creating and maintaining design systems and component libraries.
• Strong Figma skills, including libraries, variants, and auto-layout.
• Experience with Tailwind CSS and tools such as shadcn/ui.
• Background building complex, data-dense B2B SaaS interfaces or polished consumer products, ideally in a growth-oriented, design-forward environment.
• A portfolio or personal site demonstrating high-quality visual and interaction design is valued.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

Base salary: $150,000 to $350,000 USD annually. Visa sponsorship is available.
