WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

  • Five to eight years of backend software engineering experience, ideally in a fast-growing startup or another high-bar engineering environment.
  • Experience delivering consumer-facing backend features end-to-end with measurable impact and limited direction.
  • Proficiency in Go, or the ability and willingness to ramp up quickly; familiarity with Kubernetes and Google Cloud Platform.
  • Experience with data-driven systems such as matchmaking, fraud prevention, or recommendation engines is helpful.
  • Background in real-time features, payments, or consumer gaming apps is helpful.
  • Hands-on experience improving CI/CD pipelines or experimentation platforms is helpful.
  • A bachelor's degree in computer science or a related technical field is preferred.
