ABOUT THE ROLE
Join a growing AI-focused fintech company as a hands-on security individual contributor. You will mature the application security program and help secure AI agent workflows in a regulated banking environment.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Build and improve application security tooling, processes, and secure SDLC practices that fit naturally into engineering workflows.
- Partner with engineering to design secure AI agent workflows, protect data privacy, and mitigate AI-specific vulnerabilities.
- Automate security detection and vulnerability management to reduce manual work.
- Lead incident response and turn findings into lasting improvements.
- Support compliance and customer trust initiatives, including SOC 2, ISO 27001, and bank security requirements.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- Four to eight years of application security experience in a fast-growing environment, with hands-on product security as a primary focus.
- Experience with secure code reviews, threat modeling, penetration testing, and building security tools used by engineering teams.
- Strong individual contributor skills and a technical bachelor's degree.
- Experience with TypeScript or JavaScript, AWS or GCP, secure SDLC, IAM, and application security.
- Familiarity with AI or LLM security, cloud security, and regulated fintech or B2B SaaS environments.
- SOC 2 Type II or ISO 27001 experience is helpful.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
Base salary is $190,000 to $250,000 annually. Visa sponsorship is available.
